Martha [B.A., B.S.A. and M.Sc.] specialized in plant sciences and has her International Society of Arboriculture Arborist Certification. She currently is the City Forester for the City of Winnipeg Parks and Open Space Division where she manages urban forestry and Dutch Elm disease programs.
Martha has been involved with Manitoba Hydro’s Forest Enhancement Program for the past 15 years as a funding evaluator. She is the Manitoba Director for ISA Prairie Chapter. She was also the Executive Director for the Coalition to Safe the Elms a non-profit organization promoting public education and awareness of community urban forest and tree banding program.
