Glenda has been a passionate gardener for over twenty years, although the basis of this began even as a little girl on a farm in Winnipegosis. She has gardened in Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and Manitoba.
Although mostly self taught, she became a Master Gardener ten years ago through the Master Gardening program at University of Saskatchewan. She is a member of the Beautiful Plains Horticultural Society. She has made presentations at National and Provincial CIB Conventions.
In Neepawa she restored the garden at The Garden Path Bed and Breakfast, worked with the Lily Festival for several years, and served on the local Communities in Bloom Committee as well as judging for Manitoba Communities in Bloom. Along with other passionate gardeners she helped to develop the Gardens of Western Manitoba self-guided tours.
